Day 11 - Daily Nurturing of Faith
Scripture: Romans 10:17 - "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ."
Reflection: Our faith grows through daily engagement with God’s Word. Just like a plant needs regular watering, our faith needs regular nourishment from Scripture and prayer.
Application: Commit to spending a few extra minutes in Scripture today. How can this practice become a regular part of your routine to strengthen your faith?
Prayer: Lord, help me to nurture my faith daily through Your Word. Let it grow strong and deep, rooted in Your promises and truth. Amen.
Now, no gardener plants a seed and then just forgets about it, right? They water it, they make sure it gets enough sun, they protect it from weeds—daily nurturing is key. The same goes for our faith. It needs regular tending if it’s going to grow. This means setting aside time for prayer, not just as an S.O.S. when things go sideways, but as a regular conversation with God. It means diving into Scripture, not just reading for reading’s sake, but letting it soak into your life, challenge you, change you. And let’s not forget the community—faith thrives when it's shared. Being part of a faith community provides the support, encouragement, and accountability we all need. Think of it as the greenhouse for your mustard seed—a place where your faith can be sheltered when it’s fragile and celebrated when it blooms.
