Day 3: The Journey of Faith

Scripture: Hebrews 11:8 - "By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going."

Reflection: The journey of faith is often filled with uncertainties. Abraham's journey shows that faith involves trusting God’s guidance without needing all the details.

Application: Reflect on your own journey of faith. What steps can you take to trust God’s direction in your life, even when the way forward is unclear?

Prayer: Lord, guide my steps and help me to trust in Your direction. Lead me on the path You have prepared and give me the courage to follow wherever You lead. Amen.

Abraham’s path wasn’t a straight shot. He had his moments of doubt—like trying to speed up God’s promise by having a child with Hagar. Spoiler alert: that didn’t go so well. It shows that the journey of faith is often a bumpy road filled with setbacks and detours. Yet, these aren’t just obstacles; they’re opportunities—opportunities to grow, to learn, and to see God’s faithfulness up close and personal. Every challenge is a chance to deepen our trust and refine our faith. It’s in the waiting, in the not-yet, that our faith muscles get a real workout.
