Day 6: The Cost of Discipleship

Scripture: “Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.” – Luke 14:27 (ESV)

Reflection:
Following Jesus comes with a cost—our comfort, pride, and sometimes even relationships. But the reward is far greater: life, freedom, and eternal purpose.

Application:
Is there something Jesus is asking you to surrender? Don’t fear the cost—trust the Giver.

Prayer:
Jesus, help me to carry my cross with joy. Strengthen me to follow even when it’s hard. You are worth everything.
